About This Site

This site is the personal blog of Norman Lippincott, Jr., educator, software developer, and IT consultant. Mr. Lippincott is currently employed by Cedar Crest College where he teaches computer information systems and mathematics courses. He also works as an independent IT consultant specializing in open source technologies.

Originally established in 2001, this site was launched to serve as a resource for Mr. Lippincott's students at Cedar Crest College. As times have changed, and such resources have become universally available via college resources, Mr. Lippincott re-launched this site as his personal blog on 5 September 2011.

On this site you will find various articles by Mr. Lippincott on his opinions, observations, ramblings, and musings, covering a wide range of topics including information technology, IT and computer science education, software development, and open source technology. You may find the articles to be very serious at times, and light-hearted at others; sometimes quite objective, and sometimes very personal. It all depends on how the mood strikes.

The intended time-line for new content is at least once per week; perhaps more often if the opportunity or need arises. So check back often, and enjoy.

The opinions expressed on this site are solely those of Mr. Lippincott and are not representative of any organizations with which he is affiliated.
